Installation and extras

We stand what we supply

An installed frame is a frame that is plumb, braced and inspected before you hand over to the next trade. FrameSet's crews install the frames and steel we supply, in the sequence below, and can bring the site extras with them.

Sequence

Ground floor, first floor, roof

Set out

Chalk lines on the slab, delivery confirmed, start date booked in writing.

Ground floor

Wall panels stood and braced; steel columns set; crane truck lifts beams.

First floor

Floor trusses, fall guard, flooring laid, first-floor walls stood.

Roof

Roof trusses, battens, then windows and shaft liner where included.

Inspection

Engineer's frame inspection, rectification if any, certificates issued.

Extras on one contract

Through FrameSet partners, each quoted as its own line so you can take it or leave it:

  • Crane truck for delivery and lifts
  • Fall guard, edge protection and walkway scaffold
  • Yellow tongue and compressed-sheet flooring, supplied and laid
  • Shaft liner installation
  • Window installation
  • Roof plumbing: box gutters, fascia, gutters and metal roofing, with the plumbing certificate

How it is contracted

Installation on a domestic site in Victoria is building work. FrameSet's installation is carried out by registered building practitioners, with the required insurance, and is contracted as a separate line from the frame supply. Progress is claimed by stage, and you see every stage on the job schedule.

What we ask of the site

  • Slab or subfloor complete, level and signed off
  • Crane access and a laydown area for the frame packs
  • Power and water on site
  • Site induction arrangements for our crew
